And it will do well off about 600 watts, so your stock alternator will probably be ok.

they do ok in a sealed enclosure, but putting them in a ported box is like kicking open the 4 brl!

Yes that is true. I got a buddy who owns a shop bout twenty miles from me.
He had a Q-logic underseat box for his Silverado with 2 R 12's. His box was sealed, but they sure did hit good.

Out of the three you listed I agree with MA the Type R would be the better bet. It can get really loud and pounds out fairly low bass.

Are you looking to go sealed or ported??

Well unless its an extended cab I wouldnt get any of those, but rather the Pioneer shallow mount subwoofer, the Elemental Designs Shallow mount subwoofer (BARF) or the Tang Band shallow mount subwoofer.

If it is extended cab, the Type R.

Hello, i recently bought a new truck and sold my old system from my car. my truck is a ford ranger. and i would like to put just one sub in behind the driver seat and was wondering which sub out these three would be the best sub? i just want some loud ass bass haha also wat amp should i run with these or if u pick one then wat amp with that one? thanks!
