These kinds of getting paid to fill out surverys are not really scams.
What they are, are companies that want to know about market opinions so they can produce better products or re-design their marketing strategies. Usually, they will go to a research group, who will conduct the surverys and then report back whatever statistics that the original company wanted. And the people who are invited to participate in the surverys gets a little money reward for their time.
Some people make a living doing this stuff while others do so a few times and quit because of the irregular income flow and generally they get bored to death sitting in front of a computer for hours.
Other types of "easy" money making schemes include being a secret shopper (and reprot back on the shopping expericen, you get free money to buy stuff) and having your car painted as an ad for some company.
