super cool car, I likes it...alot. So good score on that part.

Far as the sound goes, is there any clearance between the back of the back seat and where the window goes up and down.?? If so how much I seen a dude way back in the 90's replace most of the padding in the back seat and place a couple free air subs back there. Not the most practical solution I know, and I dont like free air, but...

Far as the panels in the trunk go there is ALL KINDS of solutions for that. It just screams customize me. Almost like I hear it goin....pssst hey hey man lets do some work back here. :bigwink:

Get them wheels rollin in ya brain, we can come up wit sumin.

What about porting through the metal on the outside edges around the rear glass?... as for the sides of the trunk, sound dampen the panel itself then use that space for hide away amps behind the mdf panels.
For the front, you should have plenty of places to hide speakers and a head unit up front... just some food for thought :) ... And yes, Verry Nice Car! :D

Aha, so he did mean dash console. It does have bench seats though, Al, so no console.

For the fronts, does anyone foresee any problems building some small boxes for a set of comps, above where kick panel speakers would be? I'd rather keep the speakers out of sight if I can.

Aaron, I'm sure he's asking if you have bucket seats and if you could build a console between them to hold a sub. Seen lots of pickup trucks and SUVs done that way.

lol, thanks guys. You can't see if very well in the pics, but the window unit is actually only mounted at the top and bottom. You can kinda see the back of the seat between the sides and the fenders in the third pic.

@ Ryan, ignore the red circles, those are actually mounts for the spare tire that need to be cut out before the box can be built.

Thats a cool car... Good luck with the build... Like Ryan said. Its going to be very difficult to get decent sound through the trunk... A good resource that might be able to help you out is check out some of the Low-rider forums and customs forums. A lot of those guys have loads of experience with the older bigger "boat" cars out there.
