For $109 shipped it'll still be hard to beat.

Better out there? Yes.

Better out there for the price? Eh, probably... but it fit my needs/price so I didn't look around a whole lot.

When you buy something else let me know what you get and how you like it. My cousin is looking for a cheap head unit. Right now he's wants a jvc, but if you find something better for a comparable price he might go that route as well.

He's suppose to be redoing his whole system when he gets his income tax. He's suppose to be buying my amp/components as I'm going a different route as well.

Can I borrow some money? I want another McIntosh...

Im not sure.

My old radio was acting up so I just replaced it instead of trying to fix it. I may try to just fix it... I think the detachable face contacts need cleaned and a new wiring harness.

Failing that Im not sure. I have a very limited budget.

Hit up the salvage yard and find an extra piece to mod...

Try nipping them off and then putting on tiny strips of velcro. There has to be a way.

Ya the trim ring wont fit, never does in these cars.

I got a black pain pen I intend to use, but I gotta find it first :)

I had the same issue with every radio in the car, even the McIntosh. I couldnt install the little end clips.

Where is the trim ring? No offense but that looks terrible with the Din cage exposed. if it doesnt fit and you dont want to mod it just take a black sharpie and hit the din cage first. Sounds retarded but would make it look a shit load better if you cant make the trim ring fit. Maybe thats what crutchfield meant when they said it wouldn't fit?
