Hi i buyed car audio in soundandCinema . Sound and Cinema offers excellent car audio in Nanaimo, with fantastic sound quality. I am enjoying the drive with music.

New car stereo system for cheap?

So I have an older SUV which runs perfectly fine. I haven't had any problems with my little truck getting me back and forth to where I need to be. However, the lights on my radio have completely went out. I can't see what station to turn it to or anything. And the worse part is, I can't have my volume over a certain level without my speakers flipping out and making a horrible popping sound.
So my question is...where can I get new speakers/radio panel (not sure what it's called) for fairly cheap? I'm not looking for a huge system with sub woofers and amplifiers and all that. I just need a basic new stereo setup. Any help?

I'm unsure if the previous owner have done it. They're not the best quality though. To install some in the back, it'll be hard as I have to make adjustments to the trunk cover as there's no place for them in the doors.

The deck is the actual radio, just another name for it.

You could add more speakers to the back if you want, if you want to keep it low cost. Did you already replace the front speakers?

Do you have a budget in mind?
Do you already have an aftermarket deck, or are you going to stay with the factory one?

So, I own a Citroen AX, from the year 1992, though, I plan on keeping the car so I'd like to make the sound better. One problem I'm facing is that I only have the two front doors speakers and no spot for more in the back doors. I plan on adapting the trunk cover to add some there, what do you think?

What brand do you recommend for a good enough sound, that isn't very expensive?
