Well, this morning, my mom goes to my lakeview house to meet an insurance agent, and guess what she finds when she goes inside, someone had gone into our house and went through everything that was left on the 2nd story.

I'm very glad we didn't have much of anything of value up there, BUT, according to the detective that came, they were looking for identity items, i.e. identity theft. The detective told us that they had hit just about every two story house down Canal Street (two blocks from me).

We are lucky all of our records were downstairs (well, I wouldn't say lucky for what actually happened to them but...) so they didn't get any of those. Boy I tell you though, they went through EVERY box in my attic and room. The wierd thing is, I had an older Pioneer amp in it's box on my floor that they left!!! It's fried anyway, but I thought that was weird.

So here are some pics:

We are renting in the greater new orleans area, a suburb called Metairie.

heh, I didnt' paint it. Those wall hangings (well, aren't wall hangings, but anyway) are my home made sound absorbtion panels. Nothing more than fiberglass stapled to a wooden board covered in thin fabric. I thought polka dots would be a funny covering :)

My studio is really the garage of the house we are renting which is a one bedroom apartment in addition to the actual garage. It even has it's own separate alarm!

Nice purple walls and hangings!

We've got most of our stuff out. Now it's just a matter of sifting through the flood damaged stuff. Here's two pics of the house currently and pics of my new studio! http://www.geocities.com/megahurts4/old ... tudio.html

I have two samples of my recording sound quality capabitilities: (note: they are only for sound quality purposes, it was just taken from one get together, one is just and acoustic guitar and the other is that plus my drums)
