It used to be pretty big in steel, whereas flint was big in the car industry, and now its mostly all trash. Flint used to be the crime capital of the nation, youngstown used to be the murder capital just a few years ago, and right up there with crime. Its still up there. Im just happy during work term i live and work in a really nice area.
Yeah, and if Delphi closes one of their plants in Flint, the Delphi workers as well as the business around them will be screwed. As far as colleges go, if are willing, you could always go up to the big snow pile up north, Michigan Tech. I have a friend up there who is an engineering major.

Yeah, Flint is pretty bad. I went on a skate trip to both Detroit and Flint in one weekend. Flint was completely trashed compared to Detroit. I never liked either of them. In Detroit the bums are pretty funny though. :happy055:

Im co-oping at venture industries in sterling heights michigan. And ya, it is expensive, but for one, your making good money while in college and getting experience in your field, and two, most graduates get offers from their employers to get hired on full time as soon as they graduate. Not many other college students have a good full time job waiting for them as soon as they graduate.
