Yeah, I've always found MB Quarts to be harsh without any tuning. You can fix the harshness, but as far as straight out of the box and no EQ'ing, MB Quarts tweeters have always been harsh on my ears.

As far as the tweeters for the Oz Audio's... I've only got extensive experience with Oz Audio's subwoofers (awesome subs) but I've listened to their older components on a couple of occasions (installed in a vehicle) and they sounded excellent. I remember the tweeters being pretty laid back and smooth sounding. I guess they were similar to my MD100 Dynaudio tweeters, not quite as good though :)

But I don't think you'd be going wrong with Oz Audio. I'd try to have a listen to some of their Matrix components, although they may exceed your price range. Good look either way though.

Yeah the tweets were a little to tinny sounding to me.....for the music I lsten to I prefer the sound of silk over titanium or aluminum.

You found MB Quarts harsh? I listened to a few pairs, but mainly their highest model which sounded great and not harsh at all. I'm sure their lower models sound different though.

HD's are way out of my price range....not to mention don't they handle a lot more power than the CL series? I want to give the comps the power they need and not just hit the bottom limits of having them sound properly.

So are the OZ Audio tweeters nice and natural sounding (I mean not harsh like Polk or MB Quarts)

Although I'm not familar with that particular Oz Audio component set, I have always liked their products and have had good results with the products of theirs that I've used. CDT is also a very good brand, but I'd atleast go with the HD components if you can afford them. Power wise, any of those componets will easily handle the power from that Kicker amp.

I'm going to be using a Kicker KX650.4 to run my system (120x2 up front & 325x1(bridged) for a 12" sub).

I'm mainly interested in getting either CDT or OZ Audio components (or perhaps something else in the price & quality range that has a soft silk tweeter) so here's my newbie question:

I can get CDT CL-61a's for about $150 (90 watts RMS)
I can get CDT CL-62's for about $200 (150 watts RMS)
I can get OZ Audio 180CS for about $200 (100 watts RMS)

I don't want to overpower or underpower the components too much and since I'm on a fairly tight budget I don't want to spend more than I really need to.

So which of the above components would best suit my needs (they will be Xover somewhere between 80 -100hz)

Thanks for any input or suggestions
