I myself believe in 12 12" Funkypups powered by two JL 1000/1's Make sure the pups are 8ohm. And then put them in a 5th order bandpass. Then make sure you have one sheet of dynamat on the trunk lid. finally, since they are slash series, use at least 4 g power and it is ok to use 12g ground. after all, it is only ground wire, not like current is going through it. BTW, it is fine if you run the power, ground and rca's together in the same split loom.

well first you need a comptition legacy 4000watt amp 10ga amp kit
and as many 8ohm 12' bumper subs you can find and your in biz ha ha ha

500/1 is an amp and they hit pretty good.

lol they do hit pretty good. I use to have one, and they are great amps!! But you're lookin at paying a pretty penny for em.

a 500/1 is a JL audio mono block amp.
