yeah its better now, i've had my damplifier installed since like january, i had one small peice fall of but i didn't clean the surface or install it properly ( no roller, plus i wa supside down in the back of my car. big guy, tiny car, you can bet i rushed it) but still,, my damiplifier and dynamat extreme have held up well.

I used fatmat in my last car. Its smelled terrible for about 3 months then one day i open my trunk and a piece that i used under my rear deck lid had flipped down and stuck to the top of my amplifier staining it. Let me tell you how happy i was about that :angry11:

As far as secondskin goes my friend ordered a 100ft of damplifier about a year and a half ago and i did the trunk area of his car. I never got to finish it because he got into an accident and the car was totaled, so I bought the remaining 70 ft from him. I gutted my scion xb and used it from top to bottom and in all the doors. All surfaces were preped and cleaned before I did it. The next day it was hot and i rolled rolled my windows down to get the hot air out of the car until the a/c was up to speed. Whn i tried to roll the windows back up it didnt happen. In all 4 doors the secondskin peeled off and stuck to the glassof the windows preventing them from going up. :angry11: I had to pull evey door panel at 9pm at night in my driveway with next to no light and squeeze my hand under the bottom of the glass and pry off the damplifier with a flat head screwdriver because thats all i had at the time. The stuff i used was asphault based so i hope the new stuff is better.

i ordered fat mat about 3 years ago. shipping was quick. everything was fine.

i belive i paid 100 bucks for 100 square feet. used it all in my old car. made a huge difference in the trunk area. but not enough on the floor areas and doors. i think i would need something meant for that.

The product is lackluster at best anyways. Your better off getting something of quality like second skin.

Ryan, a couple years ago I ordered Fatmat. It was quite a bit but not enough to actually do my whole car. I still haven't received the order. I've tried contacting them. I've talked to Paypal customer service. Paypal says they have a fraudlegent (sp) account or link to one somewhere. Fatmat says that paypal froze thier account.
I did, finally, get the money back though. It took a lot of crap with paypal, but they did it.

I will never order from them again.

Wow they finally answered one of my emails, the one that said CANCEL ORDER as the subject...

I guess as long as they can jerk you around its cool. As soon as they see money is being lost then they answer...

There feedback tells a story. It also tells if you leave them a negative, even for a legit reason, they will leave one for you also...

I highly advise ANYONE looking into dampening solutions to NOT LOOK INTO FAT MAT.

They calim to answer all emails and to do so in 24 Hours. Yet with my experience they do not nor ever answer e mails.

I have emailed them and requested them to cancel my order, send back my money order if not cashed or send me $$$ if it has been. If they send me mat Im going to send it back.
