I do know that Maxxsonics purchased MB Quart a couple years ago. I also know they own autotek.

I know thet Zapco also produces Iforce, several companies have several lines, and Maxxonics purchased technology developed by MB Quart. I do not hate Maxxsonics, I was very dissapointed that I had bad experience with Hifonics, I mean I purchaed an entire system of Hifonics because I didnt believe anyone local who was telling me it wasnt good. I used to run a Hercules and a Europa in my 70 Chevelle, and they kicked ass, but that was in the Zed days. I really with it had turned out different for me.

BTW, the reason Ikesound owed me the 200 for the MBquart, is because of the broken hifonics I bought from them. They are extremely slow to respond to complaints, but they have always agreed to warranty what I have purchased.

I just got these from Ike's sound a month ago, the only reason I shopped there was because they owed me 200 store credit from a screwed up order from before, so I ended up with these for like 24 dollars.

I know these arent the same ones, but as for MB Quart, I love these, they sound so clean and crisp, and the midbass is perfect.

bill i had them in a 97 blazer. i had them in custom door pods powered off an eclipse 4 channel and an eclipse deck. they just arnt to my liking. harsh is about the best way i can discribe them.

Could someone tell me how good "Scosche HDX67" component speakers are vs. the "MB Quart DSE216"?

For the price, they look like a decent set, someone told me that Scosche is a decent brand, i mean not the best ofcorse, but decent for the price.

i installed a pair of discuss 6.5's in a s2000 and it was perfect. it was our 2nd most popular speaker, everyone loved them. our top selling speaker was the reference series. i'd suggest you go with those instead.
