That, and I have only seen spade style fuses in 1, 3, 5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 40 variation until you get to the larger size, then you have larger numbers.

thats it.. im killing myself.. not really.. sorry.. i guess im a noob.. i have Seriously Never Heard of amps calling for different size fuse ratings.. can anyone explain why they would do this? instead of one large fuse.

ya cause thats what I do go and pull the fuses out of my amp that came in it and replace em with different sizes just because I dont wanna find another fuse the same size. /sarcasm. He never intended to make it seem like a big deal I dont think, just wanted to have a little fun bashing BB or CC or wherever it is.

dude if the amp calls for it then its fine a fuse is a fuse and if it requires a 25 amp and a 30 amp thats what im doing. its not like they wired something wrong. and hell i would run the same shit in one of my customers amps as well. its not a big deal as longs as there not replacing 30 amp fuses with 120 amp fuses.

I do it all the time to car dealers (especially Used Car Dealers)... Most have to look at the window sticker or under the hood just to tell you what motor it has... New Car Dealers are a lil better at it since they only have to learn one or two vehicle lines.

No, they are being serious. lol. Some amps may come with two different values. I believe the fuse values add together. So if you needed 32A of fuses, you would have to do a 30A and a 2A since they don't make 16A fuses :) At least, that I know of.

guys, i am not really "bashing" BB, im just saying, that this just adds on to the typical BB antics.. also im more than sure that some Best Buy's have some knowledgeable people. also, come on people.. if this was your shop, would any of your amps be like that? or any amps in your ride? sure, maybe at a comp, and a fuse blew and thats all you had.. but i Highly doubt any of us are going to have a fuse setup on our amps like that.. we all know why you dont run fuses that arent recommended.. also the amp you are referring to with like two 30's and a single 2 amp fuse or whatever, the little fuse is probably for a fan or some neon lights or something... i wouldnt mind working at BB, sure it isnt as good as owning or working at a "real shop" but its just the fact that i would be working with car audio, i think sometimes people forget that they even are in it for fun, and take it way to seriously..
