If you're going to run active or you need all the eq capabilities, the H701 is great. Remember that you'll need to buy a controller for it as well.
I think a lot of people here are having a hard time understanding your English (I am, anyway), so that may be why you're not getting the answers to your questions.

I already make a mistake when i bought a used Alpine amp (MRP-F250) from someone and he knew i'm using Alpine Type X which is higher watt rms, which i don't know. I've been con once, but not anymore....at that particular reason, i've browse and study from Car audio forum eg...car audio central.....

I'm one of million seniors in my Proffession and i always help those newbie no matter what are their background.... (I'm active in my proffession forum)

But Car audio is new me (especially in SQ). If you can't help, i respect that. thank you very much...

I don't want anybody tell me "yes ! u should buy that amp", what i need is "hhm, you should do this or that or what ever"...

That what this forum is all about..

p/s : if i did't read past thread i'll not purchase Alpine processor PXA-H701. Anyway it's good processor.

its help a lot a newbie like me..So i think i should keep my used Alpine 4ch amp since even its only power about 40wrms versus Type X component 75wrms (as on data paper). Anyway i think i've make a right choice for purchase PXA-H701

I'm debating if I want to get into this can of worms, nd go into explaining power versus volume again, or explain how to properly wire an amp and components, or go into how speaker positioning is as important as the speakers you choose, and how a watt is a watt regardless of amp brand, and everything else that's going to come out in this thread..
or save my sanity and move along.

Well don't worry. 40 watts is plenty, the only diffrence between 40 and 80 watts would ba about 3dbs. So unless you want it louder your fine running your current 4 chanel as it was intended to be set up.

Ok now to your complaint about the sound. What do you mean by no seperation?

If your running a component set on a 4 chanel, and you use the front chanels for one set of speakers, and the back for the other, you will still have full control over balance. You won't have any fade, but you didn't say anything about a second set of speakers.

The reason i'm upgrade is because i've done a great mistake (din't check the spec though) on my current 4ch amp which is Alpine MRP-F250 (check this out : [url]http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/product.php?model=MRP-F250[/url])
The amp rated 4 x 40wrms @ 4ohm but my component is 75wrms..

Because of this stupidity i've make, during installation, i've to bridge using "Y" cable from HU to That amp to get 100wrms then connected to Alpine Type X passive xover. The result, the no separation in sound rather than Loud and mixed sound.

Two weeks ago i've try to match my component speaker (Alpine SPX-177R) to a used Rockford Fosgate old model modified (40i & 100i). It a decent amplifier anyway but dont have variable control (high pass & low pass only.

So now, after i've make a research. I've shortlisted 2 amps which is :
1) Genesis Series III 4ch amp ([url]http://genesis-ice.com/[/url])
2) Steg Competition K4.02 ([url]http://www.audio-system.de/steg/k_steg.html[/url])

Even though the Genesis Series III 4 ch amp is only rate at 4 x 50wrms @4ohm the true power is 4 x 90wrms @4ohm. It's under rated same as old RF amp.

Steg on the otherway is good amp rated at 4 x 115wrms @ 4ohm. But Genesis outperform Steg in term of their reputation in design decent amplifier.

So the decision here is clear...Genesis Series III 4 ch amp..not buy yet since some people say this amp is not match my component speaker. (Decent amp match with normal entry level SQ speaker = not worth it)

The reason i open this thread is to get opinion from Car Audio those with experience. So that i'll not make 2nd mistake with my 1st 4ch amp....

Anybody willing to upgrade to Genesis equipment knowing full well the capabilities of it with their current equipment... I'd say is off to a good start.

generally, your install ( placement, angle, deadening, etc) will have the biggest affect on the sound. if your not happy with the sound, check there first.

if you're running active, then your giving each woofer 40w rms and each tweeter 40w rms, which is plenty for that pair. your not gunna hear much difference changing amps to get an additional 10w rms.

and as stated above, if you are happy with how it sounds, thats all that matters. most people's car audio knowledge is misconception anyway, so I wouldnt base my purchases off general public opinion.

Are you happy with what you have? Don't worry about what other people think about your equipment, there's nothing wrong with it.
