i honestly dont have a clue on db level like i said its all personal entertainment. i have more fun just putting the systems together than i do listening to them sometimes. im just one of those people thats always trying to customize everything they see.

and about the 10, the only reason it is in there is cause its by some new company or something and they gave it to me for free if i would take a picture of it in the truck and send it to them. its defintly not competition quality but it actually is a decent little sub to throw in the old ladies car or something. i believe the brand is called B.A.S.S. ive seen alot of them on ebay latey for like 5 bucks.

so how loud are you about 136 or so? that would be my educated guess. and i would chuck the 10" its just taking up space and if you dont have enough juice for 2 subs just do one ported you wont loose any DBs and youll deffintly gain if you do it right.

haha well time to sound like the villge idiot and admit that i have dont know much about what you just said. like about the 160db and all i know thats loud but havent a clue how loud i dont do any competitons or anything mines all for personal entertainment and the fun of fabricating to make it look good and all.

but who knows the windshield could be anything, all i know is i was cruisin main street and a buddy pulled up next to me and blasted his system so i turned mine up to see if it was louder and the windshield spiderd on me.

by the way you seem to know alot ive seen you reply to alot of stuff on here. what size alternator woud you recomend and were can i find it.. preferably a website i can find it at, because at the moment im in ely nevda, never heard of it? neither has anyone else.

I know quiet a few SPL competitors that have chips or cracks in there windshields and it doesn't get any worse. some of them well over 160db. your story is highly unlikely. first because your running sealed boxes which don't have the potential for the high SPL numbers you would need unless its in a bandpass enclosure. second with only 130 amp alternator your not getting the current you need to supply the power those amp require. each one of those amps at 14v would require 285 amps of current.
