I myself see nothing against scholarships... as long as they're earned, either through grades, acheivements, or striving to make ones self better.

public school should be tax funded but it should also help turn out ALOT more people that arent welfare funded... yes i am all for those that fall in a crack in life that really do need our welfare system. I could take a picture of our welfare office for ya, connected to a bar and casina literally five feet away its sick. Yeah we beat up the native horribly and used them badly, and we do try to help them out alot... Here equal oportunity employment is huge. The tribe says how many native workers you must employ, we give them great job opportunites pay for their college and waht not and some tkae full advantage.. Then there are the majority... HERE that use that free money for horrible things like a new car instead of school. I want them to go to college but the govt needs to pay that money stragiht to the school of the native persons choice nto give them a fourty thousand dollar check and turn the other way. Thats freaking stupid!!!!Yes i know htere are a few natives every where but, i think your missing that currently the ratio of native to white where i live is a bout 2 to 1. And i dont mean to sound prejudice and my earlier comments came on a frustrating day of giving away cars to people buying them with scholarship money. Pissed me off horribly, and they were complete trailer park trash ass holes about it.

oh yeah, also we need to remeber that ALL public education (that i've ever seen... talking k-12) is tax funded, so either way your tax dollars benefit every one of every race... beat that.. even the illegal immigrants.

The system is wonderful for those who truly need it and use it as a safety net.

The PELL grants and such are wonderful. Without them, so many people would be so much less edumancated Hell I went for 1 1/2 years on Pell grants and didnt have to spend a dime except gas... When my pell grants dried up, I dont go. Hence I havent been back in 3 years.

i wish i could get food stamps and pell grants... I'm on state funded scholarships and with out them i'd get no where in life.. i guess i could take out loans, but if i can't get a job the day after i graduate i'm still going to be in the same position... same with pell grants, only my dad apparently makes too much money so i can't get those. So if you want to end funding for things like that, gladly die.

Oh yeah, we do have indians here in south carolina. Also, We (being the whites, or atleast some of our ancestors) came and kicked them around, so why the hell are you upset that so much money goes to them? Now obviously, its not our fault (mine, yours, or most living today) but that doesn't mean they should be forgotten and not repaid for all the land taken and etc.

ryan she is trying to ass rape you BIG time. she sends you the chitty clothes while you go buy your daughter new clothes. well your just being a good dad. now its time to be a GREAT dad, 45 minutes before you have to take your girl back to her moms give your daughter whatever she wants pop, candy, ice cream. give her everything she wants. in a few weeks your ex will see that you can play this game too and she will start dressing your daughter in new clothes also. trust me it works. my friend/boss had to do the same damn thing with his kid about 3 years ago. after three weeks of spoiling the shit out of his kid, his ex started dressing thier kid in new clothes.

Getting into the whole racism thing never works good here. In all honesty its best to avoid anything that might be thought of as such. Anyways it goes, someone gets offended. I realize thats the way it works anywhere the topic comes up, thats why I prefer not to have it here.

Myself, I have issues with welfare rats. My ex is a prime example. I could point out her race, but its irrelevant really. The fact is, she along with many others simply holds her hand out. Now we have a married woman with two kids by two daddies, married to a guy who has 3 kids by two mothers. No kids between them though. Now she manages to get welfare insurance, cash assistance, food stamps, Medicaid. Oh ya, she gets $260 a month out of me also, and all them tax benefits like EIC... She goes to college full time for the past 3 1/2 years, scholaprships, pell grants, student loans (which she pockets). She works part time "work study- soley to maintain welfare benefits. He works making $12ish for 15 hours a week. Oh ya, and they live with his parents! lmao

Heres the kicker...

She flaunts that $2500 laptop, $1200+ digital camera, the "business" shes starting... Nails always "did" and hair always done up, flashy clothes...

Yet...

When my daughter comes from her mothers shes wearing hand me down clothing and shoes from the Goodwill...

Now tell me someones priorities arent a bit mixed up?

Shes the prime example of where the system goes wrong! Our tax dollars are buying her luxuries! Fuck that shit!

People like this need to be stopped. Stop the handouts. Force them to sink or swim. Know here, she would sink like a rock.

I know for the majority of us, if we dont work- we dont eat. Its that simple. If I lost my job and had no money, I wouldnt eat. No welfare for me- im a man- I dont qualify.

No worries, you didn't upset me... I just like to make sure that we as people try to treat other people with respect... all the way up to the point that they prove they are stupid, then they're on there own lol

Well I understand where you're comin from, but remember... when you generalize one type or culture, you are being prejudice or will at least be labeled as such. Myself personally... I'm only prejudice towards stupid people lol
