you can also front mount the drivers to get more depth

The Q logic panels can fit SOME 6.5" sets, mainly smaller ones, each specific application has a set diameter and can only fit a few types of 6.5" speakers. You must also consider the mounting depth, most higher end components are pretty deep, and in some vehicles that depth just isn't available in the kick panel area.

I think im going to either run the RE component set or JL Audio 6" VR series component set. Any opinion on these two component sets. What kind of amp would you recomend powering them?

hey thanks for the information. Im not sure if im going to get the kickpanels or not for the car. I got to see what i got for money and how much i can spend. But its something to keep in mind.

I had the first gen of Q-forms, and they did not fit, No matter what I did to fix it. There was a gap between the form and the car. Maybe the current ones are better, but thought it was worth mentioning.

still looking for a good quality component set for the firebird, i also need a good amp to power my components also. Any input or sugestions on what is out there that would be awesome to use and for a decent price.

Will the Q-forms house a 6.5" component set?

by xxxdwnxxx » Mon Apr 18, 2005 6:43 pm

What do you think for a component set if i get the RE series or the XXX series? How are they for quality?

by 71buickfreak » Mon Apr 18, 2005 4:55 pm

The Q-forms will fit correctly if you follow the instructions. $149 is what you will pay for the kicks. you would pay $300+ for custom kicks. Get a nie set of compononets and you have all you need for a front stage. if you don't have any rear passengers, don't bother with the rear fill, its a watse of money unless you are running 5.1 surround.
