Thanks, that was fun to have built. We got the idea from a battery display rack , the built a bracket that uses the "slots" on the sides of the battery, then built a strap to over the top and secure it. The whole thing is bolted to the floor of the cargo area, oh, and by the way, it doesn't fit through the door in the plastic trim.
Here's the isolator I run to keep from draining the car battery, lots of room to mount since the motor is missing 2 cylinders :lgh I need to turn it around or run a longer sense wire. The stock alternator has been rebuilt to output 140 amps.

Wow, beautiful car. Looks like you really take care of it.

Thanks. Except for the glasswork on the woofer enclosure and the bit of welding for the battery hold-down bracket, I am very capable of doing everything myself. Free time due to my commute isn't always a luxury, so I chose to have a professional install (warranty on the work is a plus also), and I have a great installer who has put stuff into places that I tought impossible. I'll post some in-process pics of woofer enclosure in the appropriate forum.

New here, but not to car audio. Thought I'd drop a line to say "hi." My name is Al Hasse, as the user name suggests, I have a purple 1992 RS Camaro with a decent sound system in it. It's been a project for quite a few years (system wise) and now close to finished since I have purchased a second third-gen F-body to play with. The purple one is a V6 daily driver and has the system and some other electronic toys, the new addition has no real system yet and is a project for street/strip duty.
Some pics of the car and system...
