Your best bet is the get the trunk loc
for a few extra bucks it gives you the remote wire as well.

Alright thanks a lot looks like this install is going to be easier than i thought.

here's the loc I'm looking to get. They all seem to be about the same just making sure this is what i want.

ok so what your saying is just strip the insulation and connect them that way

by Bwcad1 » Fri Apr 03, 2009 12:32 pm

Just tap both the rear speakers dont cut them just tap into them.

ok so i should buy a LOC. I was looking at them and they have 4 wires coming off the back. Am i correct in saying the i would only use two of the wires and not use the other two at all. Also, with a LOC will i loose all power to that speaker or can i still run wires from the LOC to the speaker.

or maybe thats what the other two wires are for (from the loc back to the speaker)?

Everything from stinger is way overpriced imo. not a fan.

Thanks just checking... I've only used Navone really and have heard some really crappy ones "Pyramid"

I've seen Stinger and Scosche on installs and can attest that Stinger was a bunch of $$ for what i thought was negligible quality.

I prefer PAC but the scosche stuff worked fine i had one in my car for a while seemed to work ok.

Bill how are Scosche LOC's? I thought they were kinda "bleah" Everyone usually references Stinger too... Not my Cup O tea either...
