Any sub. That has nothing to do with the sub itself, it's just to convert cubic inches into cubic feet if I'm not mistaken.

alright, that helps me a bunch...would you divide any sub by 1728?..or is that just for the sx?

LxWxH. Then divide it by 1728. That is your cubic footage.

Wel lwhatever, he was asking how big a 3 cubic foot box is, and that's how big it is. It was just a representation of how big it is.

If he's running a 15" sub...i dont think a 1 foot high box will be tall enuf to hold the 15...just some food for thought.

thanks again for the explaination justin...so you think 25-28 hz will be loud enough?..I see a lot of people runnin single 15"s with hz in the 40's. Can anyone explain the impact the hz have on sounds? For example..Does higher hz generally give you louder bass?

3 ft wide, 1 foot high, 1 foot deep. That is 3 cubic feet.
