Check all wiring.

Check the wires from the amp-componets. Make sure you didnt swap the positive and negatives.

Sell all filters to full pass. Look over your Radio and see if it has a filter turned on. Also see if you used the wrong RCA's out.

I highly doubt they would send you a remanufactured defective product. THat stuff is usually fixed extra good so they dont have the same problem again.

nothing worked...now im starting to wonder if my speakers are getting full power from the amp, no i cant hear the highs real clearly (and sometimes not at all) but the speakers a.) are not loud and b.) are not powerful, there is no note that shakes my leg like it would when i was giving them a measly 30watts.

Yeah... go ahead and try disabling all crossovers on the JL amp and see if it fixes it.

try taking it off the hp filter setting? don't really know, just a suggestion. or just send it back to jl and make them give you a new one =P

i wish that was it :-/ yeah both channels are set at x1 ... I thought it was some setting on my HU but why would the other amp work then?

When setting the crossover setting, make sure the frequency range is set at x1 and not on x10.

Ok for some reason the singing is not real loud coming from my speakers, on some CD's you cant even hear the singing and other high notes, while on others you can hear the singing faintly. My amp is a JL 300/4 ... the problem has nothing to do with the speakers because I have an old cheap amp that I hooked up to them and the speakers sounded fine.

Could something be wrong with my amp? I just had all the outputs replaced..the amp is brand new, i dont know why i cant hear the singing.

its on HP filter and its set at about 95, although it doesnt matter, even if i turn it down it does not change.

you guys ever heard of anything like this?
