so it just glues to the side of the cone?

tinsel lead separation is generally caused by distortion and clipping from the amplifier.
you need to be careful repairing a torn lead since using normal solder makes the laad stiff and unflexible.
You generally want to replace the entire tinsel lead, soldering it at the terminal and glueing it at the cone.

Hum.. just curious.. whats a jumper? To wire my sub in parallel, I just connected 1 wire from the + to the other +. And another wire from my - to my other - voice coil. And then 1 wire from the terminal cup to a + and 1 wire from a -. I'm kind of curious, hoping I did it right lol

Here is the problem.

That amplifier is under powering that sub. When the gain is properly set, I doubt it sounds loud at all. So to make up for that, and to try and get it loud, the gain gets turned up, probably along with the bass boost, and the amp starts to clip. The clipping is what damaged the sub, and will adventually damage the amplifier as well.

Look into an amplifier that can do around 750 @ 2 ohms.

as in a crappy amp or too much for it ? or even not enough could clipping cause this?

http://www.mmxpress.com/Pioneer/gmd500m.htm this is my amp

Box size for sealed isnt a big issue...

Your amp is probably the culprit here...

750 rms

http://www.arcaudio.com/arc-05/subwoofers/arc_15d4.htm thats the link to the sub after looking at it i got my numbers mixed up it wants 3cuft ported 2.25 sealed so box sixe could be an issue

thanks
andrew
