well i'm a dealer for CDT so getting new toys isn't a problem, I can always get something, but I've seen some reviews of their amps and they've been that "something different" company here on the East Coast so I may look into it.

for me speed is not that big of a factor its more the searching interface which I find annoying with single din units unless you're using the Alpine 9857's that shows 3 lines at once and has a nicer searching program.

So, Infinity puts "Infinity" stuff in cars with the Infinity audio options, doesn't mean its good or not even part of their actual production line. So something has a label on it that says Toshiba made it, doesn't mean it passes Toshiba's production reg, but it'll pass Insignia.

i would like to test a set of Fusion components and I would like to try their amps but here in NC there isn't too many if any that sell them. O well

steve you could always ask me and i could get them for you but this set is a nice set. I prefer the 1in tweet though, but bump for a good set of speakers.

I'd try and find the 8454 but if the price is good I'd still get Eclipse, better EQ (10 band parametric EQ), 3way crossover(sorry no sub out though) and the 8V preouts I do like. Also its so simple on the eyes, nothing like the new ones which are ugly.

the Avic Zi has built in 30G harddrive and the only way i'd use those Ipod connects is with a double din unit cause they're quite hard to navigate on a single din. Only Alpine has a decent Ipod direct connect.

Man i wouldn't get that, at leas tbuy a sony CDTGT300 if anything. I've never liked major store's "own" line of cheap units. You could almost be better off with the factory HU.
