keep in mind im a student on a budget. im trying to pick out a head unit and ive found two that i like a lot: Alpine CDA-9851 JVC arsenal KD-AR870 does anyone know if u can just plug in ur mp3 player directley into the usb slot of the JVC HU and play it like that? seems too simple to be true. also w...

front firing or down firing????
i am planning on putting two 12 in subs under the back seat of my extended cab chevy 2500. what sounds better or louder front firing or down firing? also ive seen the normal speaker boxes for this application and also something called MTX thunderfoam or something like that, which is better?
