well yes i know......i came here so someone could giude me what to do to find the f'd up part

the cars harness didnt fit on the unit so i took all its pins out and replace it with the one that came with the unit. and got this problem

wires from the head unit all end in a 'socket' type thing same as the cars wires do. and those 2 attach to eachother connecting the wires

yes i know but all this is made through those pins. can't see where the wires go beyond that.

and when i turn it off the car's clock light loses its brightness and gets it back of the head unit is off

so you say i should try switching places of those 2 wires?

no. Its doesn't stay on when i turn the car off its switches off with it.
