You sure the subs are 4 ohm a piece or the box is 4 ohm with 2 8 ohm speakers? Two 4 ohm subs wired together creates a 2 ohm load and your amp should say what ohm ratings it will take. Can you just remove one of the rear speaker channels from the funky rca wiring setup ? You don’t need two channels into a mono sub channel.

Need more details on how the speaker wires are coming into the amp. Assuming you have the switches set right on the amp, it sounds like the input signal is not sufficient.

This might help, my money goes on power shortage or a weak fuse.

Do you have your speaker wires coming off the amp like it is shown on page 11 of the owners manual ?
