My amp says to use 8 GA wire for the battery and ground. Would i hurt if i just went ahead and used 4GA wire? The amp is a Lanzar Vibe 228 if that helps any. THANKS Also, the fuse is a 40 amp fuse. THANKS

ok so i got this fm modulator, came with the fm modulator and a swtich. Now my problem is when i hooked it up, and i flipped the switch it burned up and melted. not sure why it did, but im pretty sure i had it hook right. could it be possible 2 the 2 wires hook up on the switch touched and melted it...

Yea, i got these brand new. All the hardware it came with was the mounting, and the harness which had the black wire, red wire, and a green wire, yes it has a manual, but doesn't show much bout how to work the tv's, which isn't hard.
