Theres no pro to running them shared either.
If you run each sub to a channel, 2 channel setup you want them split with the divider.
If you are running them bridged it doesnt matter. But having them divided makes NO difference. Just gives you more option.
And also note they cant cut it how you have it drawn.
I did a quick example. Basically you will have your long cuts across the 49" section. Then the short cuts will be to cut the lengths.
so more like this?

Ok...

They take the 4x9 sheet off mdf, put it on the panel saw so its 4' high and 8' long.

If you tell him 12" the piece will be 12" wide x 4' long.

So your first two cuts will be 11.5" x 4'. Then the next two 9.5" x 4' then 1 at 8" x 4'.

The two 11.5's will be cut again to get the 11.5 x 26" same for the 9.5s. The leftover is scrap. Most places wont try and trim it to get your 8x11.5's. Its to small for them to cut on the panel saw.

Thats what my drawing depicts. Just figure the first two are 11.5 X 26". The second two 9.5 X 26 and the last shows the end caps.

Follow that? :)

yea now I understand lol. I thought I mentioned it here but I guess not.. I called the local home depot and the guy basically said he will cut it down to a workable size but as for dimensions they wont do it. Maybe I just got the a$$hole but I guess I will see. I am gonna go get the wood tonight.

Get yourself a cheap angle grinder with a sanding disk and 24-40 grit sand paper. have them cut everything .25 bigger and go to town with the angle grinder. Like butter.

There's a few small pro's and con's.

If you're running a common chamber design, if one sub blows, the other subs takes over the whole enclosure, which could be bad depending on the power and how close you're pay attention.

If you ever blow a sub you can't play one while the other is being repaired.

Nothing to be overally concerned about, but there are a few pro's and con's to each. I see what you're saying though, as long as everything is functioning correctly there won't be any difference between the two...

^ My main point is there is NO con to having both subs chambered separate. There is a con the other direction though which you pointed another out...

So I finally finished the box.
Some quick notes about it:
  • My cuts were a little off; 1/8" here, 1/16" there, so not all sides are level.
  • When I was test playing I found an air leak on the bottom right side panel. I just put some more sealant on that area
Here is a pic and a video of it:

I dont really hear much difference between this setup(2 10's, 375W bridged) and my old setup(1 10", 300W mono). There is definitely more bass, but not as much as I was expecting. Does this sound normal, or could it be another factor?
The subs are a bit "musical". Is this typical of a 2 ch/sub setup? Or should I turn my low pass lower?
From the video, does it look like there should be more excursion than that?

Set the low pass to about 80Hz or less.

Some like less... I like around 80
