Good deal on CDT components?

Post by kevinberry1 »

I found this component set online while surfing eBay and wanted to get some opinions. Has anyone listened to these CDT components, they come with an 'upgraded' tweeter that appears to be 3/4 inch. I'd prefer a 1-inch tweet but I don't know if the difference would be that huge. If anyone has listened to these could you say how do they compare to say JL's XR and ZR lines?

It says they are 1" tweets.

Probably a good buy for the money. I had some CDTs some time back.

Actually they were a CDT sub brand, Cambria. All I can say was HOLY SHIT. I dont remember how much power I had going to them, but they were so loud and clear... When you got out of the cars your ears hurt. honestly it was TO loud. lol

But man it was clear. Sounded awesome.

For $100 good buy.

Yeah I wouldnt hesitate a minute on them cdts for 100 bucks. I think about anywhere you start on the cdt lineup the sound real good.

If you got the cash go for it.

I put a set of those in a friends car.

They sound good, might be a little light in the midbass,

Thanks for the input guys, I'll probably have to jump on these. $99 shipped for good components is a steal. Too bad my Rainbows had to get trashed in my car accident... $115 shipped for SLC 6.5's was a once in a lifetime buy... I loved those speakers :(

How could you ever fall out of love with Rainbow?

That would be like saying that you fell out of love with Giselle...
