amp help.

hello.. i have a buddy who is running an American Legacy 1600 watt Blue Diamond Series Amp.. but the amp isnt putting out any power to the subs.. but has power lights on.. what could of caused this problem??? new out of the box?

So there is no sound at all?
Have you checked the RCA's make sure they are connected properly?

How do you have it all wired? You trying to bridge the amp? Seems like a wiring issue....

Tried another amp.. everything works great with another amp. yes rcas are connected good... the am is a referb off ebay.. could that be an issue??

hate to say it, but you get what you paid for...Legacy is not a brand I would buy. Heck, I wouldn't even subject a friend to it through a white elephant game at Christmas

Wait... Someone sells a refurb Legacy???? lol

If you hooked another amp up directly in its place (same power, ground, speakers, etc.) then yes the amp isnt working right.

Lol yeah I told him not to buy legacy but you see what happend. But if you Wiggle the rcas u get a ground looping sound it's just. eBay said that they would talk it back send him another referb but he has to pay shipping. For a legacy I'd trash it.
