Radio wont turn off when car turns off

I have a 2003 ford expedition and just bought a new after market radio. I hooked it up to see how it looked. Worked great. Unhooked it to get everything ready and when i did it wouldnt turn on unless i hooked the red and the yellow together to the yellow wire coming from the car. What happen and what do i do.

sounds like your main power wire in the car isn't getting 12V when the key is turned on.

or you have a blown fuse somewhere. Start there, check the car fuses.

Hey man. Thats what it was. Blown fuse. Changed the fuse and it work just fine. Thanks man.
