SPL and SQ

Ok I am looking for an SPL subwoofer and a sound quality subwoofer. The models I am considering for SPL would be the Pioneer TS-W3002SPL and the Memphis 15-M3MOJO12. I would like to be able to stay around 1000 watts. The SQ models I am looking at are the RE SX and the MMATS Dreadnaut. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with these subs or if anyone knows the xmax for these various subs. I know there is a Pioneer expert here somewhere. I have never used an SPL sub so I was also wondering what I can expect from it. Any comparisons to other subs or to each other would be welcomed also. Sorry if this post isn't too clear, i am having jumbled thoughts right now.

are you putting this in the same vehicle? cause they dont mix as for the pioneer i like it its one of my favrites.

They will be in the same vehicle but not at the same time. Meaning that I will be using them separate from each other.

ok that makes a little more sense lol i like elevation pro's for sound quaility also depending on cash flow for an spl sub id suggest an execution 12

Whoa 800 dollars for a subwoofer! I think thats a little too much for me. Lookin to stay around 400 or 500 dollars. Under 400 would be great.

RE SX and the MMATS Dreadnaut.
both aimed at SPL market. not SQ subs.
The RE XXX is their SQ sub.

I thought the dreadnaut was supposed to be the sound quality version of the juggernaut and I can't give the RE XXX its 1600 watt rms. Maybe it's the subconscious telling me to go towards SPL this time around since I've never used an SPL subwoofer.

What size enclosure does the Elevation pro work best in?

the pro works great in a small sealed like .8-1.2 with 500-600 watts. what do you want to get out of your SPL sub? I would suggest maybe the Bravox EDX 12 its an amazing sub and it will take that 1600 watts and keep asking for more. List price on there is 620 but you can usually get them for less since your a memeber of the board and plattys get theem for less too.
