Make sure you don't buy anything E audio, from ebay. Their old stuff got flooded out, and the insurance companies put them on ebay. So I would be a lil weary if you catch them on there. It would be the old blue boxes tho, I think. If it's their new stuff you should be okay.

Thanks for the warning; I read about that in some other posts. I'm going to try and get in touch with Elevation Audio and see if there's any dealers close to me.

So for my RF Punch 55.2, and a goal of best SQ for my budget (I'd like to spend under $300 on the sub and box), the consensus is for me to go with one E Audio Comp12?

Again, thank you so much everybody, for all the quick responses.

The comp will run you around $120, and if you can build yourself a box. It isn't hard at all. $30 at the most. If you mess up the first one, you should have plenty of wood left over to try again.

i cannot stress this enough the box makes the sub there are a bunch of box builders on here that could build you a great box in your price range. if your confident you can do it great go ahead but make sure you do it right and dont half ass it or the sub will sound like trash. as for elevation i have the execution 15 and love it there my sponsor and there really good guys. if you like i can talk to them and find a dealer close to you also. let me know!

You might want to look for a more powerful amp too. Your amp wont even be pushing half its rated RMS. I thought they were only 200. But it's 250rms.
