New SQ Sub Low Budget

Post by brisgreat1 »

Well anyways I was suppossed to get my new sub about 2 months ago but I lost my job and other eunfortunate vents have pushed it back some more.... but finally the day has come! Anyways after this weekend im gonna be upgrading the big 3 with some jl 2 gauge wiring. Back to the sub, Im looking for an SQ based sub, I've been looking at JL, Diamond, Eclipse, and RE mostly now, but I thought I read RE's prices soared recently. Any suggestions, I'd say a budget of 225ish on the sub, I'm looking for 1 good sub.

What amp are you gonna be using?
For 225 I would say look for an RE SE 15" used. For around 280 you could get a Fi Audio Q 15".

budget SQ?

Fi's Q series.
they're relatively cheap (uner $300 for a 12") and excellent subs.
designed by the guy who designed RE's subs, in fact.

Are you talking about the PPSW12E or the PPSW12H (although either will fit the bill)... heck 225ish could get him into a NVSW12 :)
