When i change songs my sub makes the sound your cd player makes when it is loading a cd.... does any1 know whats wrong and how to fit it... i have a 12" alpine type R dual 4 ohm bridged to a kenwood amp... in a slot ported box....

its not the sub, its probably your deck.

See if you can slave in a diffrent deck, and go from there. If it stays, its in your wiring. If it goes away its in your deck.

check your RCA's.. in alot of cases, that guy is the culprit for noise issues..

Yea i have the same issue in my truck but it doesnt really bother me at all. I mean yea so what u can hear that "duh-duh-duh" sound b4 it goes to play when u start it up, but I get my Bass the way i like it.... LOUD

I'd say try another h/u first too (if you have one available to you)... then step to the rcas and go from there.
