Is there much of a difference?
My friends at work use them like that thru their systems. and they sound pretty good.

The 7200 is a great deck, and the 8 volt preouts aren't a problem.
If your amp will only handle 5 volts you can just set the volume knob to were the deck puts out 5 volts and set your gains from there.
Or you can go into your time alignment page and turn down each channel separately so your deck won't reach 5 volts till you hit 75 or 80 on the volume knob.

I'll make sure to get a direct cable with whichever deck I decide on. I'll have to get a player as well.
yeah just yesterday, a buddy of mine was playing the mp3 player in his blackberry thru his system in his car. I dont think you will notice that much of a drop SQ wise.

That's awesome. I'm actually in need of a cell as well. I was looking at the Blackberry phones and I just tonight read the compatibility list of BlueTooth phones that work with the 7200 on the Eclipse site. The Curve is on the list. And the Curve 8900 would be perfect for me. I will actually save money going this route. As I wouldn't have to buy a compatible player separate of a phone. sweet!
I won't be ditching the cd's though, that's for sure. But it's a nice option to have as backup.
