O.k. I know I'm beginning to get awful repetitive on this, but for the price range that everybody's been asking about lately... My options for recommendations keep leading back to one brand... Xsite
I find them to be a good quality amp(s) that performs what it says, and a great bang for the buck.

Hehehe Bill im not saying that they are in the same class, but lets face it ive seen alot of installs with those Pioneer "760watt" class amps their and they suck balls! My cuz has it in his car and it doesnt sound that great and he has 2 12" Pioneer subs on it too... Im just saying that those amps arent made that great... maybe i OVEREXAGERATED in saying that they are in the same class as the Xplods but i am still saying that they are not made that well and dont give you the best sq for your money.

hmm i ran 2 comps with those 760 watt amps and won both

and there both still ticking. amps dont have a sound the install the box and the woofer do and in that order. i found the 760's to produce rated power and play clean. there class ab so they ate a lot of current but still performed well within what i expected.

i burned out one easily but that prolly was cause it was an old one... i just dont like them anymore when i could go with a Hifonics instead or a JBL 600.1

how can you say that they are not made that well from just hearing a couple friends systems (which probably weren't installed/set-up correctly if they "suck ballz")
pioneer does make decent amps. my buddy is running a brand new 12w3v3 off one and getting great results.
in any system, the amp SHOULD be transparent (refer to richard clarks amp challenge).
the difference in amps, and the price of them, is in build quality (which reflects longevity), features (crossovers, equalizers, some even time alignment, and any other cool stuff manufacturers add to their amps), and power.
sony amps get a bad name from failure rates (lack of build quality) and, atleast a few years ago, exagerrated power ratings. if used/set-up within its recommended limits, one shouldn't be able to tell an audible difference between a sony and a zapco.

well i definitely could tell a huge difference between my shitty boss amp and my cuz pioneer... and believe it or not my Boss sounded better... Now that is not to say that all the Pioneer Amps sound that bad... I set both of these amps myself so i know that they were set up correctly... I have also heard a Kicker L5 12" on the Mono channel Hybrid that Pioneer made... and that sounds great! So yes not all of Pioneer's amps are bad nor is the company bad by any means (i love thier comps and mids and thier old Premier line subs) but it is definitely plausible to think that sometimes their amps are not built well all the time.

if you honestly think you can tell an audible difference between amps (and not just different power), i would go win some money off mr. clark if i was you.
the difference you probably heard was due to more power (if the rest of the system (speakers/install) remained the same).

Ok I have another question. I been reading that rear-fill speakers are pretty much useless. So i should not even bother with those rear speakers.
So I wondering should I just take them out? Or should I leave them in there?
Thanks you again for all the help im getting.
