I dont want this into turn to a debate, but i have owned audiobahn with nothing negative, to say except i should have bought more powerful subs the first time.
well then can someone point me in the right direction-
what can i get that would be equivalent to the AW1008T?
how much will it cost me??

this inst a debate. most of us have been doing this for many years and have have many different types of subs. and there are far better subs than audiobahn out there. what are you looking to spend first of all. and how much power do you have.

I agree with Bwcad1... btw thanks for chiming in! lol haha... but yes seriously Audiobahn is really a fancy looking paperweight... If i were you and you want nice clean sound get an Ascendant Audio Assassin 12"... Great subs low power requirements and sound great in the right enclosure... Sure maybe it wont sound like the Abahn but then again, i would probably wouldnt want my assassin to sound like a abahn... Lately I have heard a couple of the new Abahns and im sorry Vw-addict but they do sound like Poop... you really should try something different.

no i understand that there are far better subs out there than audiobahn,i just didnt know they were that crappy. what i am saying is that i had heard those subs before , and for 125$ sounds pretty good.
i'm looking to get maybe 1600w to 2000w to power one or even two
(and im talking real watts not Boss watts)
thats another reason why i was going to go with the AW1008T - 1000w RMS
2000w peak

Keep this in mind... I am an Audiobahn dealer, and I almost always steer people away from Bahn that are interested in it for the musical and bass quality... Now if they are going show car and more interested in the "bling" quality of it, thats another story... Plus I wouldn't trust the rating of 1000w rms from Bahn to get a good sound out of it... 600-750 tops.

Oh and to answer your budget question... A decent 800-1000wrms sub is going to be $200+ and up (unless you go ebay... but don't expect a warranty).
