yeah i dont think kicker's on the crap list... the crap has basically been mentioned : sony, mtx, jensen (first head unit was ajensen from cc) audibahn and all that... first amp was ma audio - crap

They make everything only really ever known for HU's. Those suck IMO.

fusion yes, us amps no, im a dealer and their stuff is pretty decent so far.

im actually a dealer for sony and jensen, both make good head units above a certain price point, but if your talking under 200 bucks most head units are about the same

that just leaves me completely surprised that my other brand hasnt been mentioned. the other brand i actually like the people involved so i wont name it but i also wont sell it....

I owned Cliff Designs back in the 80's and 90's, and they rocked, as did my Altec Lansing Components, but, now Cliff Designs is overpriced, trying to live up to their name and falling way short. You can't even buy Altec Lansing's anymore cause they went bankrupt.

But as for other carp out there, I would say that Power Acoustic has to rank up there as far as poopy stuff.

i actually have no problem with power acoustik at all. ive never warrantied a single piece ive sold. they make some very nice head units these days too. the amps are overrated but reliable. the mofo and fubar subs are solid and they make some nice sounding comps as well

maybe someone will remember this, i cant recall the brand but back in the early 90's there was a company that only made head units and they were like 29 bucks, bare bones, no lighting even common ground speaker outputs......complete crap

I highly disagree with this as well. for budget equipment its the best you can get.
