Along with the Kickers, Fosgates, and Pioneers, the others to consider would be the Almani S3-12F, American Bass SL124, Audiopipe TSF1200

4 re8's and 600-700 watts, maybe a little over your budget, but wouldnt require a ton of power... You should have plenty of room to go ported as well.

I have to agree that the 4 8's would do a great job in a truck. Personally I would go that route over the slim mounts.

I would suggest saving a little more money to accomadate for this setup, even if it took a little longer to get there.

Heck... it doesnt even need to be 4. Do 2 8's or 2 10's.... you could probably fit almost any low to midrange sub in a stantard cab anyways. With fiberglass, your box can have endless designs and with the space you save by using fiberglass you can probably create a wicked ported box. Give them suckers a bit of power and you will have a pretty decent standard cab truck.

Ones that probably would be well within your budget would be the Massive SW10s. These would also be well worth considering as they have a mounting depth of only 5.5" (and are not a slimline sub (rated at 400watts rms).

Now why would you even mention an inferior product like that... I mean affordable is one thing, but that's just down right wrong.
