I really hope whoever gets in office makes some changes. I really don't want to see this country go down the same path it's on now for 4 more years.

let me just say this. and it goes along with my previous statement. all you people who are voting democrat just because bush is republican remember this. congress and the senate are both democratically led. Congress and the Senate make the laws. so all you guys who blame george for all this mess remember he only has so much power. he shares the blame with congress and the senate. bush was no awesome president but he is not 100per to blame.

I just like Obama/Biden better than Mccain/Palin..

Mccain is 72 years old, by the time her gets out of office he'll be atleast 76 years old. If it he makes it full term, will he even be all there? And heaven forbid he doesnt, do you really want Palin as president...

I mean come on, watch one of her speeches... I'd rather take a nap in the middle of the freeway than to do that again.

I know a lot of people are scared to vote for McCain due to his age.

The doctors seem to give him a good clean bill of health, so dont hesitate on that account.

I do like what some of what Obama has to say. But thats where the buck stops, hes just talking. Hes a talker not a doer. Hes going to talk the talk and not walk the walk like so many before him. Everything in his eyes is to get elected and stay elected. I dont think hes capable of the real change he advertises.

While some see McCains age as a bad thing I see it as a good. He is on his way out no doubt,which means he doesnt have much to be fearful of... lol... I just tink hes going to kick some but around Washington and i think the only reason the Republican party is still behind him is without him they have nothing... I believe this man is strong willed enough to do what he thinks right for the people, not for his party.

I don't think this has anything to do with the vice president candidates. They are not going to be running things. that being said, it amazes me that the only reason that people like Obama, is that he is Democrat. If Pee Wee Herman were democrat, and threw a bunch of one liners out there like Obama, he would get the vote too. Why do you ask?

Cause this country has way too many liberals that want a change. They don't care who is in the seat...at this time. But after the vote when all the goodness in this country goes to hell, they will blame the republicans some how. Even though they got their wish by electing Obama.

I am PROUDLY voting McCain. The reason is that this man puts people first before himself. He has shown that when he was a POW in Vietnam. BTW, has Obama even seen a military installation much less served our country? Evidently the only time he has "served" our country has been a little over 140 days.

I have no idea where the Republicans got Palin, but I have to tell you this. Aside from her "maveric" ideas, she backs McCain 100%. Biden seems to state that he just loves his friend McCain, then goes on to bash him. That my friends is not a friendship. That is manipulation of the voting public. That is like calling your buddy who is a minority a racial slur when his back is turned.

Biden is a slime, Obama is in my opinion less qualified to lead this country than Palin. At least Palin plans to stand by her claims rather than just showboat for votes.

I guess I see this differently than you...

Even if I was best friends with Mccain I'd still point out every single one of his weakness if I was running against him and his VP, just like Mccain does to him and Obama... He's not standing up there and saying Mccain is the biggest p.o.s idiot in the world... He's saying "look, Mccain is a good guy, BUT these are his down falls, I believe we can do the job better."

Yet when McCain states that he and Biden are friends, he leaves it at that. We all have shortcomings, but bashing your opponent every chance you get is manipulation. It is focusing on all the bad that he ( mccain ) does, instead of focusing on the good that you are doing. but I can see your point.
