Ya I guess its just like all of the shitty cars people put cheap ass ground effect kits on and neons, that really raises its value through the roof.

Even the chevy guys will tell you the 305 is worthless for performance.

The 302 has a LARGE aftermarket backing, the 305 not so much.

He probably drop anywhere from .5 - 1.0 seconds off the 1/4 mile by dropping in a stock 305.

If we were talking about a LT1 or LSx or something it would be different....

I have to agree and disagree on this issue... Its not worthless because if your the one who is driving it and owning it you must feel that it's worth something to you.

Maybe not to anyone else, but hey what ever... Who cares if the car is Ford powered by Chevy... Thats fine I don't care about that crap either. How bout those guys that took the Smart car and dropped a Suzuki GSXR 1300R motor into it... It will blow the doors of almost any car on the road:

Its awesome... That car beat out a Ferrari in the Quarter mile...

Because they took something and improved it.

I'll let him chime in on the amount of work and fabrication it took to make the set up work. If he's happy with it that's all that matters I guess...

I really want to see pictures of the engine bay.
