Help with WinISD, RE SE 12" box :(

Ok, found a box spec in a manual for a JL 12w7 subwoofer.

RE Audio recommend a box 1.8cuft tuned to 32hz for my SE 12" sub.

It's a 1.75cuft net volume box, with a speaker displacement of 0.14cuft, compared to my SE which is 0.15cuft. So the tuning will be at a slightly lower with my SE in it.

Do you think this box would be fine for my RE SE?? The box spec seems a nice blueprint to build off (without me having to do all the hard work, lol).

Also, the spec has a 1" MDF front baffle, is this enough for the RE SE, or should I double baffle (1.5")???

*EDIT* Or better still, does anyone have a blueprint for a RE SE 12" sub enclosure???

http://www.bcae1.com has all the calculators for box design as well if you want to play with them yourself while you wait.

Darthness - not for the box size i want.

I have played around the the BCAE calculator, and got varied results. For example I want to try to replicate the specs of a JL Audio slot port box for a 12w7 sub, using the BCAE calculator.

Heres the JL box spec from the manual...

Heres what I put into the BCAE calculator to try and replicate the spec of JL..

There will be a minor difference due to the front baffle on the JL spec being 1" instead of 0.75". BUT, the JL manual has a slot length of 24", and the BCAE calculator has 31.028 slot length!?

I just wanna make sure the BCAE calculator is acurate for a slot port.
