Cant cut straight...

i managed 136.7 with 1 12" comp and 200w.

yea, thats kinda my point, did you have a double baffle? that 132 was a customer who did his own install for the first time as well. it was ugly as hell too, and someone stole it out of his car after the show

No i didnt double baffle. its kinda hard to double baffle a tapped horn once you start building it and expect good results

. but anyways what is your point lol?

my point is a kicker comp doesnt justify a double baffle. do what you want its your money. maybe you should write technical articles for magazines or get an engineering job with one of the manufacturers or something. you ask questions and dont want answers. apparantely your way is the only way. i think you must be the son of glass wolf...

well its more like im interested to know will happen if i do sumin. but as long as the results arent catastrophic and arent gonna hurt anything...ill try it. im not afraid to accidently make it louder...lol

And what question did i ask? I never asked a question. i STATED i couldnt cut straight...everyone ASSUMED i was asking..

ok, advice has been given to you then and you shoot it all down. everyone keeps telling you how to do things and you want to tell how you do it even if your having trouble. im fine with all that, if you dont want to take advice then dont. i dont care if you build the box out of bricks and mortar the sub in place. but some very experienced people here have given you some good advice. i understand that as a younger guy you are still learning and will admit that all of us still have things to learn. but if i call bill or mike or joey or anyone about something or mention im doing something to one of them and they mention how they have done it, i listen.

Well idk i was just venting no clue what i should of expected.

Onward...

I did a test with resin and fiberglass..i fiberglassed a can and sat it ontop of a board..then had enough resin left over i resined the board except for the area the can was in.. just to see how good it paints (as so many people have said in the past)..So i did that and this happened

(board is 16.75" X 12.5" X .75" so its pretty big)

Im intending to fiberglass the 45's and especially the port. i want it super strong so no chance of failing. gonna fiberglass the outer port 45's and bondo + paint so it should look good and clean. going to resin all the joins so there sealed tight. I thought about fiberglassing all joints so basicly there are no 90" joints in the box...but we shall see
(btw so theres no confusion i am not asking for help in this paragraph i am simply stating my intentions if you choose to give advice and i choose to ignore you. Please do not be offended and get upset)

And smoker it seems they all just keep repeating each other.. Which i knew the information they chose to provide in the first place! However there have been some good points made

Well I'm gonna give ya some quick advice on glassing... Do what it what you will

The more curves you have, the stronger it will be... Fiberglass holds most of it's strength in the curves, so don't try and sand it to perfect corners and expect it to be as strong.
