corvette has nothing to worry about maybe in straight line speed but the new z06 was the second fastest car around nuremborg in the world. i dont think the mustang could even come close to that. nothing i repeat nothing could catch the vette for the price. dont get me wrong i like the mustang but i will die bye vettes. infact i almost bought one the other day but my insurance would have been 600 a month it was a 98 coupe with some upgrades. dyno slip of 450hp.

Talking about the C6 vette. The GT is the Z06 competitor, in which the GT is faster and handles better. It's pricier, but it's got more racecar in it than the Z06 does. Also doesn't have problems with the chassis cracking.

the chassis cracking was a myth first of all lol and you cant say it handles better nor that its faster because the vette still stomped it at nuremburg... things may be better on paper but the watch is really what matters. the only thing faster than the vette is the porshe gt2 and although i like the gt its only limited production not like the vette. and its supercharged with 2 more cylinders. if you put the vette in the correct class in my mind v8 no turbos or supers what can catch it? now if they produce the blue devils with the super for 10000 more what could catch that?

the GT has a 5.4 thats supercharged if i remember correctly so it has a smaller motor then the vette.

And the GT has stomped it on other tracks. Certain cars incline themselves to different types of racetracks, these are no different. GT is more tailheavy than a Z06, and will do better at tracks that cater that. And opposite is true for the Z06. Too many variables to base it upon.

i tried letting a salesman take one around the parking lot a couple of times now but they wouldnt let me. if they did there would of been a huge ass burn out.

mmm noble! u ever look at the cobras with chevy 350's in them? hell i would be all over a c12 though if i had the money or a lignenfelter limited 06 z06
