make friends with allt he people in the hood. hook them up with good deals.. then ask them for a favor to "help out" your competition.

Oh and here's an update on Genesis...
I was contacted by them about 4 1/2 years ago and was offered an authorized dealership, but at the time didn't have a large call for high end equipment (most people just wanted cheap loud)... so I passed at that time, but they told me since I was one of the firsts on there list of contacts that if noone else in the area picked them up I could contact them back in the future.
I wrote them and told them who I was and even with CES going on right now they got me out the apps asap... and due to my previous contacts with them I can get accepted with no buy-in, but I will be required to sell a disclosed amount that I choose for each quarter...
So I'm stuck at a stalemate...
Wait it out till I get the new shop where I can display product or
Pick it up now and try and push the hell out of it?

no way in hell i would i sell for them if you have to sell so much $ per quarter thats just asking for trouble especially with a high end brand like that.

Terry Mike Joe and Mitch this is to you guys.

we need to start bringing in more people. talk to the guys around your shop ur regulars the ones with good stuff. print a couple apps get the word out in your area. all we have right now is a few of my good friends and a bunch of CAC guys. not that thats a problem but id like to have quite a few members this year!
