This winter I'll probably tear it apart and build it back to more exicting specs.

Optition One:

Engine:
Stock Mustang Short Block
Stock H.O cam
1.7 Rockers
GT 40 (p) heads
Gt 40 Intake

Transmission:
T5 Transmission

Rear End:
Explorer 8.8", limited slip, rear disc brakes, 3:73 gears.

Or.....

Opition two:
Engine:
Stock 2.3 turbo long block/turbo
15 PSI of boost

Transmission:
Turbo coupe T5

Rearend:
Explorer 8.8", limited Slip, rear disk brakes, 3:55 gears.

Other Mods:
Interior:, New blue carpet, Black/Blue focus SVT leather bucket seats, explorer console, explorer OHC, black leather inserts for the door panels.

Audio:
??????????????

Exterior:
New White Paint, painted front bumper, 4x4 Front Valance, clear turn signals, 2" cowl hood, Grill insert (wire mess), flush tonneau cover, roll pan, tinted stock taillights.

Suspension:
The explorer rearend lowers the back around 4" from stock, So I'll probably lower the front 3" to level it out. Other than that, still figuring out the details.

Put the smallest motor you can possibly put in it. Make it a super gas mileage vehicle.

Either way, it'll probably be a weekend toy, so gas milage isnt a huge concern.

I'm leaning towards the 5.0, god I love the sound of the 5.0.

But it would also to say "Oh, its just a 4 cyl"

Notice the theme though, either way I'll be using ALOT of OEM parts.

umm
this is a tough one because I'm a 4cyl person but overall I think the 5.0 will be the better setup just because there are so many out there well hell the 4cyl isn't that rare either...

Shit man I dunno whatever ends up being the cheapest

The 5.0 would probably be cheapest, shoud be able to get the truck into the high 13's N/A, or high 12's with a 125 shot.

I dropped an intake off at the machine shop and had to pick it up today, I talked to the owner for about 3-4 hours. He gave me a few real good suggestions about my little side business I have going on...
