We've had a few ice storms, but not really any snow yet... I'd say this is probably the only decent snow storm we'll get this year....

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR SLEET AND SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM
THIS EVENING TO 6 PM CST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO
LONGER IN EFFECT.

SNOW WILL DEVELOP OVER THE AREA THIS EVENING...SNOW COULD
OCCASIONALLY MIX WITH SLEET. EXPECT 3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW
ACCUMULATION BY SUNRISE TUESDAY MORNING WITH AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3
INCHES THROUGH THE DAY ON TUESDAY. STORM TOTAL AMOUNTS WILL
GENERALLY BE LIGHTER TOWARD THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE WARNING
AREA.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS THAT 6 INCHES OR MORE OF SNOW IS
EXPECTED. THE RAPID ACCUMULATION OF SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVEL
EXTREMELY DIFFICULT...IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE. IF TRAVEL IS NECESSARY...
MAKE SURE TO EXERCISE CAUTION. BEGIN YOUR TRAVEL WITH A TANK FULL
OF GAS...AND CARRY A WINTER STORM KIT WHICH INCLUDES A SHOVEL...
FLASHLIGHT...CELLPHONE...AND BLANKETS OF EXTRA WARM CLOTHING

The last few years have been very mild as far as snow is concerned.

Watching the news now, were in the 6-8" zone...

I havent went out and measured yet, but its probably somewhere between 8-12"...

My cousin called me last night and said to meet him at the city lake to go sledding (back side of the damn, extremely steep/long and very fast), when I got there they it looked like a football stadium with big flood lights, and flashing lights... They were winching somebody out on a stretcher... :help:

So we went to a local park were it was a little safer...
