WTH is going on?

Anyone else having issues today on the internet???

Last night I got a email to my [email protected] from Verizon for copyright. I also received another to some weird addy @verizon.net.

Today... I cant visit http://www.donwload.com, http://www.fcc.gov, I cant post on http://www.aleromod.com (this computer), spybot cant connect to update server.

Im kinda feeling weird about all this.

I went to my dads place and I can connect to download.com or the other sites. However I can pull up http://www.aleromod.com and post to it.

I heard on the news yesterday some Government sites were knocked out and they believe N Korea is behind it. I noticed about 11:15am EST that the EAS was on the tv with a red banner scrolling across the top. All I got was 3:45pm.

Anyone know WTH is going on or am I just paranoid??????????????????

I called Verizon up.

I was a bit alarmed when they told me my recent trouble ticket was fixed on July 7th. Considering the last time I called for an issue was well over a month ago and it was with internet outage.

I did the automated deal and it told me that some customers are facing intermittent outages... So it seems to be an ISP issue.

Can you guys access the FCC?

I had a virus a few years back that prevented me from loading any of the anti virus sites. so that was a hard one to get rid of.

Evidently it was an issue with my ISP.

One very strange thing- I got an email directed to some weirnd numbers/letter @verizon.net- obviously not my verizon email.

Just for fun I used a yahoo based email and sent an email to this ODD email.

It came through...

But everything seemed rather weird yesterday.
