97% said yes.

I said yes as well. But on the other hand if your a convicted felon (well depending on your crime) I say no.

According to American law once your labeled a felon you no longer have the rights of the general populous so this wouldn't apply.

Certain misdemeanors will also cause you to loose that right too. A misdemeanor domestic violence is one off those, I think. It may depend on what the exact charge is. Also enough drunk driving convictions will do it too.

That vary's by state. Any drug related charge or Domestic Violence in Ohio you loose your right to own a gun period.
