Hey dudes, I need your creativity in creating this system I have pieced together. All parts are in, I just don't know where to start. After reading many reviews on this money saving set of components, I went with the 6.5" Phoenix Gold RSD component set. I'll give you a full review after everything is set up.
I'm installing the component set and want to get opinions on tweeterplacement and proper speaker installation.
Goal - Cut corners and spend the least amount of money possible. Sound Quality.
My big thing is help on installing the tweeters and achieving optimal imaging. I have no fabrication experience. I've never mounted a tweeter. I need to know how to cut in the door or a-pillar (if that's where you advise they go), what tools to use, and most of all your patience :help:
This is the 3rd system you guys will have helped me install. I was the 1,000+ post kid back in the ezboard days before we made the switch here, 18 years old and talking smack when I met the OG's around here. Embark on this wonderful journey with me once again

Second Amp (awaiting advice on what to do with it. Use for sub? etc.) Eclipse 3640 4 Channel

the rest.

Where should I mount my tweeter for optimal sound quality? You're advice greatly needed.

Try all the places with some double sides tape. When you figure out which you like best make it permanent.

Is it a 4 ohm sub?

If it is, you could bridge the silver colored amp on your midbasses, and on the black amp bridge 2 channels to the sub, and use the other 2 to run the tweeters.

You'd need a crossover either in your deck, or external to do this unless your passives are capable of bi-amping (which i doubt they are).

Otherwise you only need 1 of those amps to run the components and the sub.
